TeacherActive is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a classroom with an average ratio of 8 learners to 6 staff, supporting children of all ages, and diagnoses of Autism and Moderate Learning Disabilites. You will be working for a school that supports a range of complex learning needs, and may be required to adapt to challenging situations with young learners. A patient individual is needed, as relationships are a key focus for this setting.TeacherActive are looking to take on SEN Teaching Assistants on a full-time, long-term basis, to work in this setting. A real nurturing environment, you will understand the importance and have experience supporting students with their EHCPs. If you have additional skills such as Team Teach or Makaton experience, that would be a great bonus (although not required for you to apply).
