TeacherActive is currently recruiting 3 SEN Teaching Assistants to join a specialist SEN setting in London.We are recruiting for: 2 x General SEN Teaching Assistants supporting pupils across the school with their learning, communication, behaviour and individual needs.1 x 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant providing dedicated individual support to a pupil throughout the school day. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide a safe, structured and positive learning environment. You will help pupils access lessons, develop their communication and social skills and work towards individual learning and EHCP targets.For the 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant position, you will provide consistent individual support, helping the pupil engage with learning, manage their emotions and behaviour and develop greater confidence and independence.A patient, calm and adaptable approach is essential.
