These settings are committed to creating nurturing and inclusive learning environments where pupils are supported both academically and emotionally, helping them to build confidence, independence and positive relationships.The schools are looking to take on a SEND Teaching Assistant on both day-to-day and long-term bases. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will be supporting pupils across a range of ages with additional needs including ASD, SEMH, trauma-related needs and learning difficulties, requiring flexibility, patience and the ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual needs.The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:• Experience working with children or young people with SEND• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD or trauma-related needs• Strong communication and behaviour management skills• A patient, caring and adaptable approach• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff• A proactive and can-do attitudeIn return for the above you can expect to ..... full job details .....
