TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Outstanding OFSTED-rated school in Derby, who are looking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant. The school provides a supportive and positive environment where pupils are encouraged to develop academically, socially and emotionally. The school is looking to take on a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis from ASAP until July 2027, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 support to a Key Stage 1 / KS1 child with autism / ASD who is non-verbal, helping them access learning, communicate their needs and engage successfully throughout the school day.
