What You''ll Be Doing as an SEN Teaching Assistant in WallaseyYou will work closely with pupils who have a range of special educational needs, which may include:Autism and social communication differencesSEMH (social, emotional and mental health) needsGlobal developmental delay or learning difficultiesSensory processing differencesLimited or non-verbal communicationPhysical or mobility needs requiring adapted supportYour daily responsibilities may involve:Delivering 1:1 support tailored to each child''s EHCP or learning planAssisting small groups with structured tasks, interventions and therapy-style activitiesUsing visuals, communication tools and personalised teaching approachesSupporting emotional regulation using calm, trauma-informed strategiesHelping pupils stay engaged in lessons, daily routines and social situationsWorking collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists and pastoral teamsCreating a nurturing, predictable environment where every child feels ..... full job details .....
