Salary: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming school in Lancing. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for someone who can provide tailored support to pupils with diverse learning needs.

Role Overview:

As an SEN TA, you will play a vital role in helping students with additional needs, access learning and thrive socially and emotionally. You will work closely with teaching staff and external specialists to ensure each pupil receives the individual support they require.

Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Support students with SEN on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
• Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and personalised strategies.
• Encourage engagement and participation in classroom activities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to staff and parents.

Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school or similar setting.
• A calm, patient, and nurturing approach to learning support.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A full CV covering the last 10 years, with all gaps explained.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
