About the Role:
Supply Desk is working in partnership with a highly regarded Special Needs School near Andover that provides dedicated support for students with Autism. The school is seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to support both primary and secondary students in small group settings of around 5-10 students per class. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a commitment to helping students with Autism develop their academic and social skills.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to create a nurturing and structured environment that encourages student success. Your role will involve assisting with lessons in core subjects such as English and Maths, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs, and providing emotional and behavioural support where necessary.
