Salary: andpound;90 andndash; andpound;120 per day (depending on experience)
About the Role:
A warm and inclusive primary school near Waddesdon is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with ASD in Key Stage 1. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCP targets and provide tailored learning support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group SEN support
- Implement specific strategies for ASD and speech andamp; language needs
- Foster a positive, consistent relationship with the child
- Assist with communication and emotional regulation strategies
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEN, ideally ASD
- Understanding of early years/KS1 classroom routines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Patience, flexibility, and a calm, proactive mindset
