Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with EHCPs£
Supply Desk is working on behalf of a number of welcoming and inclusive schools in Amersham and the surrounding areas to recruit skilled and compassionate TAs for 1:1 and small group support roles, starting in September 2025.
These roles are ideal for individuals who are patient, nurturing, and confident in supporting children with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or social and emotional challenges.
About the Role:
- Deliver personalised support to pupils with EHCPs through both one-to-one and small group interventions
- Collaborate closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement individual support plans effectively
- Promote positive behaviour, self-confidence, and independence in learners
- Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and engaging fully in all aspects of school life
- Adapt and tailor support strategies to meet the unique needs of each child
The ideal candidate will:
- Experience supporting pupils with EHCPs or a range of additional needs
- Compassionate, proactive, and student-focused approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable, with the confidence to thrive in various school environments
- A recognised TA qualification is advantageous but not required
