Job Description:
- Provideandnbsp;1:1andnbsp;andandnbsp;small group supportandnbsp;for pupils with a range of SEN needs
- Assist the class teacher in deliveringandnbsp;differentiated,andnbsp;inclusiveandnbsp;lessons
- Implementandnbsp;individual education plans (IEPs)andnbsp;andandnbsp;behaviour support strategies
- Foster aandnbsp;safe,andnbsp;nurturing, andandnbsp;stimulatingandnbsp;learning environment
- Work closely withandnbsp;teachers,andnbsp;SENCOs, andandnbsp;external professionalsandnbsp;to support pupil progress
- Support pupils withandnbsp;personal careandnbsp;andandnbsp;emotional regulationandnbsp;where necessary
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children with SEN in a school or care setting (desirable but not essential)
- Be aandnbsp;patient,andnbsp;empathetic, andandnbsp;adaptableandnbsp;individual with a genuine passion for supporting children
- Demonstrateandnbsp;strong communication,andnbsp;teamwork, andandnbsp;problem-solvingandnbsp;skills
- Be committed toandnbsp;inclusive education,andnbsp;safeguarding, andandnbsp;child wellbeing
