Supply Desk is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join inclusive and nurturing schools in Rickmansworth on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis starting in September 2025.
This fulfilling role involves offering tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a variety of needs, including autism, SEMH (social, emotional and mental health), and other additional learning challenges.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing in-class and intervention support for pupils with SEND
- Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Fostering independence, self-esteem and social skills
- Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs and other staff to adjust teaching approaches
- Contributing to a positive, inclusive and encouraging classroom environment
Weandrsquo;d love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience working with children with SEND (preferred but not essential)
- A patient, compassionate and supportive nature
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
