SEN Teaching Assistant HarpendenLocation: Harpenden area Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time Pay: £85 £115 per day (dependent on experience)Supply Desk are currently seeking a caring, patient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the Harpenden area. The successful candidate will provide dedicated support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence and develop both academically and personally.Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs and wider support staff, you will play an important role in creating a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every pupil is encouraged to reach their full potential.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs, building positive relationships and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.Key Responsibilities: Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health needsProvide tailored 1:1 and small-group support according to individual pupil requirementsAssist pupils in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in classroom activitiesEncourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation and social developmentMonitor and communicate information regarding pupil progress, engagement and wellbeingWork collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, parents/carers and ..... full job details .....
