Job Description:
anduuml;andnbsp; Provideandnbsp;1:1 and small group supportandnbsp;for pupils withandnbsp;SEND, including those withandnbsp;autism,andnbsp;ADHD, andandnbsp;speech and language difficulties
anduuml;andnbsp; Assist in the implementation ofandnbsp;EHCPsandnbsp;andandnbsp;individual learning plans
anduuml;andnbsp; Foster aandnbsp;positive and inclusive classroom environmentandnbsp;that promotesandnbsp;engagement,andnbsp;confidence, andandnbsp;independence
anduuml;andnbsp; Work closely with theandnbsp;class teacher,andnbsp;SENCO, andandnbsp;external professionalsandnbsp;to support pupil progress
anduuml;andnbsp; Support pupils withandnbsp;personal careandnbsp;andandnbsp;emotional regulationandnbsp;where necessary
The Ideal Candidate Will:
anduuml;andnbsp; Have experience working with children withandnbsp;special educational needsandnbsp;(in a school or care setting)
anduuml;andnbsp; Be aandnbsp;patient,andnbsp;empathetic, andandnbsp;adaptableandnbsp;individual with a strong understanding ofandnbsp;inclusive education
anduuml;andnbsp; Demonstrate excellentandnbsp;communicationandnbsp;andandnbsp;teamwork skills
anduuml;andnbsp; Be confident in usingandnbsp;positive behaviour strategiesandnbsp;andandnbsp;sensory approaches
anduuml;andnbsp; Hold or be willing to obtain anandnbsp;enhanced DBS check
andnbsp;
