Role Overview
Working closely with individual pupils and small groups, you will support the academic, emotional, and behavioural development of students with SEMH needs. You''ll be a key part of a collaborative team dedicated to creating a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEMH challenges
Assist in delivering tailored learning activities that meet both emotional and academic needs
Implement and follow positive behaviour plans and support strategies
Help pupils manage emotions and develop self-regulation and coping skills
Support pupils during class, break, and lunchtimes to encourage social engagement
Liaise with teachers, pastoral teams, and external professionals to support pupil progress
Promote inclusion, safeguarding, and a positive school culture
