Supply Desk is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join welcoming, inclusive schools in Rickmansworth on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis starting September 2025.
In this rewarding role, you will provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a variety of needs, including autism, SEMH (social, emotional, and mental health), and other learning challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-class and intervention support for pupils with SEND
- Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Foster independence, confidence, and social skills
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and staff to adapt teaching strategies
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:
- Experience with children with SEND (preferred, but not essential)
- Patience, empathy, and a supportive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
