A welcoming primary school in Rickmansworth is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. The school values teamwork, creativity, and a nurturing approach to education, providing a supportive environment for both staff and pupils.

About the Role
This is a full-time, term-time position ideal for someone who is empathetic, proactive, and committed to helping all children succeed. Youandrsquo;ll work closely with pupils and teachers to support learning, encourage positive behaviour, and help create an engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils across a range of abilities
• Assist with classroom activities and lesson delivery
• Support personalised learning plans and help pupils stay on track
• Encourage social interaction and emotional wellbeing
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Keep accurate records and contribute to progress reviews

What Weandrsquo;re Looking For

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable
• A calm, patient, and compassionate approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and take part in training
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
