Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential£ Supply Desk is seeking compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join welcoming and inclusive schools in High Wycombe. In this role, youandrsquo;ll provide personalised, one-to-one support that makes a meaningful impact on each childandrsquo;s educational journey.
About the Role:
- Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEND needs, fostering both academic progress and personal development.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and deliver differentiated learning activities.
- Promote the development of essential skills, self-confidence, and independence in pupils.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to monitor progress and adjust support strategies as needed.
- Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
The ideal candidate will:
- Prior experience supporting children with SEND (including SEMH, autism, or other additional needs) is advantageous but not essential.
- A patient, empathetic, and genuinely committed approach to helping young learners thrive.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and promoting the wellbeing of all pupils.
