Location: Stratford-upon-Avon and surrounding areas
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time
Contract: Temporary
Salary: -95 to -110 per day (depending on experience)

SEN Teaching Assistant Required - Stratford-upon-Avon

Hays Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time, temporary basis within mainstream primary schools across Stratford-upon-Avon. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or SEN Support Worker who is passionate about helping children with additional needs achieve their full potential in an inclusive school environment.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assist children with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language difficulties and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Encourage engagement, participation and positive learning behaviours
• Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement support strategies
• Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
• Support pupils both inside and outside the classroom

What We''re Looking For

• Previous experience working with children with SEN, either in schools or a similar setting
• A patient, caring and proactive approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a school team
• Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
