      <description>Location: Birmingham | Salary: &amp;pound;95 - &amp;pound;115/day | Type: Temporary | SEND Teaching Assistant Year 2, Mon and Tue, Birmingham   At a primary school in Birmingham, a Year 2 student recently sat and listened to a whole story for the first time. The school celebrated it, because that''s what progress looks like for the child. They''re looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant in Year 2 who values small wins as much as they do.  The role is Monday and Tuesday, working with two students who are at around Reception level in phonics and maths. Their main need is social, emotional and mental health (SEMH). Their day is built around choice and short bursts of learning, and it works best with a known adult who follows it consistently.
