SEN Teaching Assistants - Primary SEN SchoolLocation: Irlam, SalfordStart Date: ASAPHours: Full-Time, Monday to FridaySpencer Clarke Group are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work within a specialist primary SEN school in Irlam, Salford, supporting pupils with complex and additional needs.The school is looking for caring, enthusiastic and committed individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and helping them develop both academically and personally.The Role:Supporting pupils with complex SEN and additional needs.Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required.Assisting with learning, communication and social development.Supporting pupils with personal care where necessary.Helping to manage behaviours and promote positive engagement.Working closely with teachers and other support staff to provide consistent care and education.Creating a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for pupils.Experience:School-based SEN experience is desirable, but the school will also consider candidates with relevant experience from care, residential care, support work, youth work or similar environments.Candidates who have experience supporting individuals with complex needs, ASC, PMLD, SLD or challenging behaviour are particularly encouraged to apply.The successful candidate will:Have a genuine passion for working with children and young people.Be patient, resilient and compassionate.Have relevant experience working with children, young people or ..... full job details .....
