SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: Blackley, ManchesterRole: SEN Teaching AssistantContract: Full-time, long-termStart Date: SasapPay: 110 per dayAre you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and helping them reach their full potential?We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join an SEN Secondary School in Blackley, supporting pupils across the school and providing tailored support to those with additional learning and behavioural needs.The RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and the school''s SEN team to provide effective support both in and out of the classroom. You may be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or within small groups, helping them access learning and develop their confidence, independence and social skills.Key ResponsibilitiesProviding 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SENSupporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, communication and learning needsHelping pupils to regulate emotions and manage behaviour positivelySupporting pupils to engage with classroom activities and learningBuilding positive and trusting relationships with pupilsWorking closely with teachers, the SENCO and wider support staffAdapting support to meet individual pupils'' needsPromoting independence, confidence and positive behaviourAbout YouThe successful candidate will ideally have:Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.Experience within an SEN school, ..... full job details .....
