SEN Teaching Assistant - Specialist SEND SchoolLocation: SheffieldSalary: 95- 120 per day Contract: Full-time Long-term September StartTradewind Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded specialist SEND school within a well-established multi-academy trust in Sheffield.This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive specialist setting, working with pupils who have a range of additional needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), communication needs and associated complex needs.The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom, helping them to develop academically, socially and emotionally. As part of a multi-academy trust, there may also be opportunities to work across other specialist settings within the trust.The RoleSupport pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups throughout the school day.Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities.Encourage pupils to develop independence, confidence and communication skills.Support pupils in achieving the outcomes outlined in their EHCPs.Promote positive behaviour using consistent and nurturing approaches.Work closely with teachers, therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team.Help create a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment.The Ideal CandidateHas experience working ..... full job details .....
