SEN Teaching Assistant - Specialist SchoolLocation: Shirebrook, MansfieldPay: 95- 120 per dayContract: Full-time preferred Term-timeTradewind Recruitment are seeking a caring, patient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist school supporting children and young people with a range of complex special educational needs and disabilities.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about helping pupils develop their communication, independence, confidence and life skills in a supportive learning environment.The Role - SEN Teaching AssistantYour responsibilities will include:Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.Assisting teachers with classroom activities and individual learning plans.Supporting pupils with communication, sensory and learning needs.Encouraging independence, emotional regulation and positive behaviour.Building trusting relationships and providing consistent, nurturing support.Assisting with personal care and daily routines where required.Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.Personal care may be required as part of the role.
