SEND Learning Support Specialist SLD and Complex Needs SEN Teaching Assistant SEND School School West Suffolk Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk (IP33) Pay: £14.30 £16.00 per hour (depending on experience) Contract: Long term/ Temp to Perm Sector: Special Educational Needs (SEND / SEN) Start: ASAP Make a lasting difference every single day We are working in partnership with a very special SEND school; a highly regarded specialist setting in West Suffolk, to recruit a compassionate and committed SEND Learning Support Specialist to support pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and complex additional needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or support worker who is passionate about inclusive education and understands the importance of consistency, empathy and high quality support. Your role As a SEND Learning Support Specialist, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SLD, PMLD and complex needs Support students with communication, sensory and emotional regulation Assist with personal care and physical support where required Work closely with teachers, therapists and pastoral teams Help create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment Encourage independence, confidence and engagement through creative learning strategies Who we re looking for You may be ideal for this role if you have: Experience working with SEND, SLD, PMLD or complex ..... full job details .....
