      <description>Location: Northampton | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Temporary | Simply Education is working with a highly specialised and nurturing school who supports children from age 11 to 18 years old. Their students have a diverse range of learning needs, including Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). Many also experience communication, interaction, sensory, or physical challenges, such as Autism, Cerebral Palsy, or sensory impairments.  The Role  The school are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role is suitable for both part-time and full-time applicants, but you must be available to work between 8:30am and 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.  This is an excellent opportunity for those with mainstream school experience who are looking to transition into a SEND setting. Some pupils present with complex behaviours associated with their additional needs, so patience, resilience, and a positive approach are essential.
