SEN Teaching Assistant (SEMH)Start Date: January 2027Location: PeckhamContract: Full-time onlySalary: 108 - 130 a dayAbout the role and schoolTeach Plus are currently recruiting for a compassionate, resilient and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant (SEMH) to join a welcoming primary school in Peckham, Southwark, starting January 2027. This full-time SEN Teaching Assistant position will involve supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning, develop positive relationships and manage their emotions within the classroom environment. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to provide tailored support, promote positive behaviour and ensure pupils feel safe, valued and confident in their learning.The school is a welcoming, community-focused primary school in Peckham with a strong Christian ethos and a commitment to inclusion, respect and personal development.
