We are looking for a caring, resilient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join an all-through specialist SEMH school in Guildford, supporting pupils across both primary and secondary age groups. You will work closely with teachers and the wider support team to help pupils overcome barriers to learning, manage their emotions and behaviour, build positive relationships and achieve their potential. The role will involve 1:1 and small-group support , assisting pupils with their learning and emotional development and helping them to engage positively with school. You will support pupils who may display challenging behaviour and help create a calm, safe and supportive learning environment.
