This school is also considering a permanent appointment from September for the right individual.Your new roleAs a teaching assistant within this school you will be joining an experience SEMH resource class, working in collaboration with the teacher and other teaching assistants to ensure that the needs of your pupils are at the heart of all operations. Unfortunately the pupils you will be supporting have had a difficult start to life and as such all have varying levels of SEMH and trauma. To support their emotional development you will take a nurturing and trauma-informed approach to all lesson and activity delivery to ensure positive outcomes and to build confidence. You will:Integrate into new pupils groupsSupport with ELSA interventionsSupport during break and lunch timesWork in collaboration with external professionalsWhat you need to succeedFull "Right to Work" in the UKAn Enhanced Children''s DBS certificate or willingness to obtainReferenceable experience supporting children with SEMH/behavioural needs within a classroom or residential environment Be able to commit to a full-time ..... full job details .....
