Teaching Assistant (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract) Westbury, Wiltshire Up to £21,408 per annum Are you passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers and achieve their potential? We are looking for a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a specialist education setting supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, alongside additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties. This is far more than a classroom support role. You''ll become a trusted adult, mentor, advocate, and positive, role model, helping students develop confidence, resilience, and the skills they need to succeed. What You''ll Be Doing Every day is different, but you could find yourself: Supporting students within the classroom alongside teachers Delivering 1:1 interventions and small-group sessions Helping children regulate emotions and manage challenging situations Supporting therapeutic approaches and wellbeing-focused activities Accompanying students on educational visits and enrichment activities Encouraging social development during break and lunchtime periods Creating engaging learning environments and resources Celebrating achievements, building confidence, and recognising progress Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, families, and external professionals What We''re Looking For We''re seeking individuals who are: Patient, ..... full job details .....
