The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant (Post 16)

A specialist SEN school in Hackney is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support Post 16 learners on a full-time basis. As a SEN TA, you will work with students aged 16-19, supporting them both in the classroom and with life skills development.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will support students on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping them access functional skills (English and Maths), vocational learning, and independence skills such as travel training and communication.

You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to implement EHCP targets and promote confidence, independence, and employability skills.
