Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Contract: 1 Year Fixed Term - Full-time
Salary: -100115 per day, based on experience

An inclusive two-form entry primary school in Purley, South London are now looking for an experienced and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding and diverse school as soon as possible this October. You''ll be liaising with other staff members across the school and working closely with the SENCo to ensure all students are supported, understood and cared for.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you''ll support and assist children with a range of needs - including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties. Whether it''s giving 1:1 support, running small group sessions, or helping create a calm and welcoming classroom.

Requirements:

• 2+ years'' experience working with children with SEN (in a mainstream or SEN setting)
• Strong behaviour management.
• Someone who is proactive, passionate and caring.
• A team player who''s happy to get involved and support wherever needed.
• Qualifications such as a CACHE Level 2/3 with education / childcare.
• A warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children is must.
• Strong understanding of child development and SEN knowledge.
• DBS on the update service.
