SEN Teaching Assistant ABOUT THE SCHOOL Prospero Teaching is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant for a brilliant three form-entry primary school in Kingston Upon Thames. This wonderful primary school in Kingston Upon Thames is dedicated to supporting pupils with additional needs. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils access learning and make progress both academically and socially. The position is open to experienced SEN Teaching Assistants, Teaching Assistants, and Learning Support Assistants. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location - Kingston Upon Thames Position - SEN Teaching Assistant Type of work - Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, assisting with learning, behaviour support, and classroom activities Position start date - September 2026 Full time/part time - Part time Rate of pay - GBP100 - GBP115 per day (depending on experience) Hours - 8:30am - 3:45pm, Monday to Wednesday (term time only) EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant. Experience supporting children with SEND, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language needs, or social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs is desirable Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year is desirable (training can be provided where required) GCSE English and Mathematics at ..... full job details .....
