A well-established specialist SEN school in Bolton is looking to appoint a caring and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant for a September start. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping every pupil achieve both academically and personally.
The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), ADHD, Speech & Language Difficulties, and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Working across 1:1 support, small-group interventions, and whole-class activities, you will help pupils develop confidence, independence, and the skills needed to access learning successfully.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will become a valued member of a forward-thinking support team, working alongside teachers, therapists, and SEN specialists to deliver targeted interventions. Using Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), you will tailor your support to each pupil''s individual strengths and challenges, helping to remove barriers to learning and promote positive outcomes.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
