With a warm, welcoming headteacher, excellent staffing, and woodland within its grounds, the school offers a magical, supportive environment where children and staff can flourish.The Role - SEN Teaching AssistantAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will help children with ASD and other additional needs access education through a combination of 1:1 and general classroom support.1:1 support is shared across the team, helping children feel comfortable with different adults and build trusting relationships with several members of staff.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting communication, emotional regulation and participationAdapting activities and explanations to individual learning needsEncouraging confidence, independence and social developmentSupporting Numeracy, Literacy and wider classroom learningFollowing individual programmes set by specialists, including Speech and Language TherapistsWorking closely with teachers and fellow TAs to nurture each ..... full job details .....
