SEN Teaching Assistant ABOUT THE SCHOOL Prospero Teaching is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant for an inclusive two form-entry primary school in Croydon, South London. This friendly primary school in Croydon is committed to supporting pupils with additional needs. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils access learning and make progress both academically and socially. The position is open to experienced SEN Teaching Assistants, Teaching Assistants, and Learning Support Assistants. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location - Croydon, South London Position - SEN Teaching Assistant Type of work - Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, assisting with learning, behaviour support, and classroom activities Position start date - September 2026 Full time/part time - Full Time Rate of pay - GBP100 - GBP115 per day (depending on experience) Hours - 8:15am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (term time only) EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or in a similar child-centred role Experience supporting children with SEND, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language needs, or social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs is desirable Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year is desirable (training can be provided where required) GCSE English ..... full job details .....
