The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a broad range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), ADHD, Speech & Communication Needs, and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Working across 1:1 support, small-group interventions, and classroom activities, you will help pupils access learning, build independence, and develop the confidence needed to achieve their individual goals.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will become an integral part of an experienced multidisciplinary team, working closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to deliver personalised interventions. Guided by each pupil''s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), you will identify barriers to learning, implement effective support strategies, and celebrate every achievement, no matter how small.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
