SEN Teaching Assistant Primary (Ages 3 11) Location: Hounslow Start Date: Immediate / ASAP Pay: £110 £135 per day (depending on experience and qualifications) Contract: Full-time, Term-Time OnlyWe are working with a specialist SEN primary school in Hounslow, supporting pupils aged 3 to 11 with Autism (ASD), Speech and Language Needs, Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD) and associated behaviours. This is a warm, nurturing setting with a strong emphasis on communication, sensory learning and emotional development.We are seeking a confident and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.What We Are Looking For: Experience working with children with SEN in a school, nursery, or care setting OR a Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Support / Early Years A patient, calm and encouraging approach to supporting children Confidence in following structured routines and behaviour support plans Team Teach / Positive Handling training is highly desirable (but not essential training can be provided) Key Responsibilities: Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups within structured classroom and sensory environments Assisting with communication tools such as PECS, visuals and Makaton (training provided if needed) Helping pupils to regulate emotions and engage positively in learning Providing support with personal care where required Working closely with the class teacher and wider support team What the School Offers: Supportive leadership and staff team A ..... full job details .....
