SEN Teaching Assistant

Contract: Full-Time / Long-Term

Premier Education is working with a primary school in Winsford who are looking for a caring and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The school are looking for someone who is confident supporting children with additional needs and can provide consistent, positive support both in and outside of the classroom.

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs

• Supporting children with SEND to access their learning

• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills

• Supporting with behaviour and emotional regulation where required

• Creating a calm, safe and positive environment for pupils
  
  

• Previous experience supporting children with SEND

• Experience with ASD, ADHD, SEMH or other additional needs would be beneficial

• A calm, patient and nurturing approach

• Confident supporting behaviour and emotional regulation

• Able to build positive relationships with pupils

• Reliable, adaptable and committed

• Must be 18 or over

• Two suitable references

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

Pay: -92110 per day, depending on experience and assignment.
