The school supports young people with severe autism (ASD), severe learning difficulties, non-verbal communication needs and physically challenging behaviour. We are looking for someone who is resilient, proactive, physically active and confident supporting students with complex needs in a demanding but rewarding environment. The Role Support Post-16 students with severe ASD and complex SEN. Manage physically challenging behaviour using positive behaviour support and de-escalation techniques. Provide 1:1 and small-group support. Assist with intimate personal care, including toileting and changing. Encourage communication, independence and life skills.
