Sen Teaching Assistant

Pioneer People are currently recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join a specialist SEN setting in Bromsgrove on a long-term basis. The setting supports pupils from EYFS through to Post-16, with flexibility around the age group you work with depending on your experience, strengths and preferences. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and committed Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children or young people with additional needs. Key responsibilities include: Providing 1:1 and small-group support Supporting pupils with a range of additional and complex needs Encouraging engagement, independence and positive learning behaviours Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour where required Following individual support plans and working closely with teaching and pastoral staff Maintaining a safe, structured and supportive learning environment The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN Experience within a specialist SEN setting or school environment is desirable A calm, patient and adaptable approach Strong communication and relationship-building skills A relevant Teaching Assistant or SEN qualification is desirable Experience supporting autism, SEMH, ADHD, SLD or complex needs would be beneficial Location: Bromsgrove Start date: ASAP Age range: EYFS to Post-16, with flexibility based on experience and preference If you are an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term ..... full job details .....
