SEN Teaching Assistant

Oasis Academy New Oak currently have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated practitioner to join the team as a SEN Teaching Assistant in ''The Orchard'', our Autism Resource Base. Job overview You''ll have an enthusiasm for supporting learners with differentiated needs, providing learning support with a positive and inclusive outlook, and managing sometimes complex behaviours within a structured learning environment to ensure differently-abled learners can reach their full potential. Requirements NVQ/VRQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent. Maths and English GCSE grade A - C / 9-4 or Numeracy and Literacy Level 2 on the NQF or equivalent. Passion and commitment for supporting learners with specific needs. An empathetic, patient and tolerant demeanour. Key organisation and communication skills.
