Aspire People is working with a school near Abergavenny who are looking for a dedicated ALN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional learning needs. A recent inspection highlighted the school''s strong positive environment, noting that ''pupils feel safe, secure, and enjoy school, with positive working relationships with all adults.''

The role is initially day-to-day, with the possibility of longer-term opportunities.

Your Role Will Include:

Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
Assisting class teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
Encouraging pupils to reach their full potential
Participating actively in school life and contributing to a nurturing environment

Ideally, You Will Have:

A Level 2 Teaching Assistant (or equivalent) qualification
Experience supporting children with ALN, particularly ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
A positive, nurturing approach and a passion for working with children
