SEN Teaching Assistant Year 6 - lovely mainstream primary in Hampstead, NW3 Location: Hampstead, NW3 Salary: £120 £140 per day Contract: Full-time, long-term (initially 1 year) Start Date: ASAP Hours: Monday Friday, 8:30am 4:30pm SEN Teaching Assistant Immediate Start We are currently working with a friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in Hampstead (NW3) who are looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. The successful candidate will provide 2:1 support to a Year 6 pupil with ASD and communication difficulties, who is currently accessing learning outside of the classroom. The Role Provide dedicated 2:1 support to a Year 6 pupil with additional needs Support the pupil with ASD and communication difficulties Help develop confidence, engagement and access to learning Support a pupil who is working below age-related expectations Work closely with the class teacher and wider SEN team Contribute to creating a safe, positive and supportive learning environment The Ideal Candidate will have: A minimum Level 3 qualification Previous experience supporting pupils with ASD, communication difficulties and additional needs Ideally, experience working within an SEN or specialist educational environment Confidence supporting pupils working below age-related expectations A patient, nurturing and consistent approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Full-time availability, Monday Friday, ..... full job details .....
