Sen Teaching Assistant

We are working with a welcoming independent school in West Hampstead (NW2) that is looking for a dedicated and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child who is nearly 3 years old with challenging behaviour.

Location: West Hampstead, NW2
Start Date: ASAP (Trial Available Immediately)
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Contract: Part-Time, Ongoing
Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay: Up to -150 per day

Key Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated support to a child aged almost 3 years old
• Implement positive behaviour management strategies
• Support learning, engagement, and social development
• Build a positive and trusting relationship with the child
• Work closely with teaching staff and parents where required
• Help create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment

About You

• Previous experience supporting children with behavioural needs
• Patient, calm, and resilient approach
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Experience within EYFS or nursery settings is desirable
• Able to commit to Tuesdays and Thursdays
