KS1 SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: Birmingham, B29Weekly Pay: 500- 525Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pmStart Date: ASAPContract: Long-Term, Temp-to-PermLong Term Futures are seeking an experienced and compassionate KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the B29 area of Birmingham.This is a full-time role supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 with Autism (ASD), ADHD and complex additional needs. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils access learning, develop independence and manage their emotional and behavioural needs.The successful candidate will have strong SEN experience and be confident adapting their approach to meet the individual needs of pupils within a busy primary classroom.ResponsibilitiesProvide targeted 1:1 and small-group SEN support across KS1Support pupils with ASD, ADHD and complex additional needsAdapt classroom activities to meet individual learning needsSupport pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviourUse structured routines, visual aids and sensory strategies where appropriateSupport communication, social interaction and engagement with learningRecognise potential triggers and use appropriate de-escalation strategiesEncourage independence, confidence and positive relationshipsWork towards individual learning targets and EHCP outcomesWork closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support teamWhat the School is Looking ..... full job details .....
