About the Role
Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brent seeking a proactive and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 1 with ASD and ADHD.

This is a varied role where you will not only provide in-class support but also take on responsibilities as a Learning Mentor, delivering targeted interventions and helping pupils develop both academically and socially. It''s an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships and making a meaningful impact in early education.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting pupils across KS1 with ASD and ADHD
  • Delivering targeted interventions to support learning and development
  • Acting as a Learning Mentor, supporting emotional regulation and behaviour
  • Assisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting engagement through structured and creative approaches
  • Monitoring progress and providing feedback to staff

About You

  • Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASD and ADHD
  • Confident delivering interventions and working 1:1 or in small groups
  • Patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Passion for supporting children in early years and KS1
