The school is rated Good by Ofsted and offers a supportive environment with a strong SEN team and experienced leadership.This role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The school is seeking a resilient and proactive Teaching Assistant who enjoys building positive relationships with pupils requiring consistent emotional and behavioural support.The RoleProvide 1:1 support across Year 4 and Year 6Support pupils with SEMH needs and PDA, including classroom reintegrationWork both inside and outside the classroomAssist with outdoor play and learning activitiesSupport learning tasks, emotional regulation, and behaviour strategiesBuild consistent, trusting relationships with pupilsWork closely with class teachers and the SENCOThe Ideal CandidateLevel 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experienceExperience supporting children with SEMH or behavioural needsUnderstanding of PDA strategies or trauma-informed approachesCalm, resilient, and confident in a 1:1 support roleStrong relationship-building and behaviour management skillsTeam Teach or Behaviour training highly desirableWhy ..... full job details .....
