SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: Small Heath, B10Pay Rate: £110 - £120 per dayStart Date: ASAP Contract: Monday - Friday, long-term temp to perm.Long Term Futures are recruiting for a patient, resilient and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a dedicated SEN Hub in a primary school in Small Heath, Birmingham. The role involves supporting pupils with Autism, SEMH and Speech, Language and Communication Needs in a structured and nurturing environment.This position is a long-term role and for the right candidate there is an opportunity to be made permanent. The school is looking for an experienced and positive individual who can become a key part of their SEN team.Key Responsibilities:Support pupils'' academic progress as well as their emotional wellbeing and personal developmentProvide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Autism, SEMH and SALCNSupport communication and interaction using appropriate strategies and resourcesEncourage learning across a range of subjects, tailored to individual needWork closely with the SENCO to monitor progress and adapt supportIdeal Candidate Profile:A Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning Qualification, or relevant subjectExperience working with Primary StudentsA background working with SEN Pupils, specifically Autism, SEMH and SALCNAn understanding of how to support students'' learning and developmentA strong understanding of behaviour managementWhy Work with Long Term Futures?Long-term placements offering stability and ..... full job details .....
