      <description>Location: Rowley Regis | Salary: &amp;pound;100 - &amp;pound;120/day | Type: Permanent | SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT KS4 -B65  Smile Education are currently looking for an experienced and highly resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to support a KS4 pupil within a specialist SEN setting in the B65 area. (Long term position)  This is a challenging but incredibly rewarding opportunity for the right person. We are looking for someone with a strong personality, excellent behaviour management skills and a genuine passion for supporting young people with complex additional needs. The pupil can present with physical behaviours and may at times become disengaged from learning or reluctant to remain in the classroom.  The successful candidate will need to be confident, calm and consistent, with the ability to build a strong relationship with the pupil and encourage them to engage safely and positively with learning.  THE ROLE   Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a KS4 pupil with additional needs.  Support the pupil to access lessons and the wider school environment.
