The successful candidate will play a key role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and achieve their individual academic, social and emotional goals.Your new role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), communication and interaction needs, learning difficulties and complex needs. Work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff to deliver tailored learning programmes. Provide one-to-one and small-group support to help pupils access the curriculum. Encourage positive behaviour and promote emotional wellbeing. Support the development of communication, social and independence skills. Help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every pupil can thrive. What you''ll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND. A patient, resilient and nurturing approach.
